A leading housing organisation is looking for a Service Improvement Officer to work as part of the Team supporting colleagues throughout the Councils’ Housing Service to improve services, develop new initiative and further the strategic objectives of the service.

We are looking for the following:

Experience of involvement in reviewing and evaluating services and producing recommendations leading to service improvements.

Experience of providing or developing services for a social housing landlord.

Experience of gathering resident feedback to improve services

Ability to build positive relationships with and provide support to colleagues, managers, residents and partner agencies.

Ability to research and gather relevant information and best practice examples to support service reviews, development and implementation of new services and changes to policy.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to convey complex information simply.

A clear practical commitment to improving services, developing good value services and enhancing the reputation of the council and partner organisations.

Ability to monitor performance analyse data, consider a variety of implications and draw clear conclusions.

Ability to design and deliver training to staff.

Ability to design resident feedback opportunities such as surveys, mystery shopping and focus groups.

Ability to lead a project team and design a project plan for reviewing policies and procedures or developing new initiatives.

Ability to organise resident and stakeholder events supporting strategy development and service improvement work.

Ability to draft strategic documents, project reports and action plans

Understanding of service priorities of customers and legislation related to the housing service.

An ability to deliver services to the public within an equal opportunities framework.

Pay rate per hour is £24.18
