£25 ltd per hour (£200 per day)

I am currently recruiting a Project Planner (PMO Administrator, Program planner) to join a long term site transition project for a large aerospace manufacturer. Working in the PMO you will tasked with providing specialist knowledge to the project management team. This will specifically include:
Defining key performance measures and creating reports to track project progress, risk, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID) and performing any data analysis relevant to project tasks.
Reviewing and improving PMO processes.
Supporting all required planning activities and meetings.

The role is expected to last 6 - 12 months, more likely closer to 2 years and is offered at £200 a day limited.
Responsibilities
·Maintain all required plans
·Maintain RAID via regular meetings and updates
·Coordinate internal and external reports; gathering, analyzing and summarizing data and information for project teams.
·Develop, design, and establish reporting standards for the programme.
·Evaluate and monitor the performance and efficiency of projects to ensure that timelines are met.
·Evaluate the progress of the programme and create reporting packs as required.
·Interface with the project teams including business representatives to discuss progress as well as identifying opportunities for improvement.

This is a very important role and will require consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. You will most likely have at least 5 years demonstrable relevant experience.
In addition, the successful candidate will most likely have:
·Proficiency in MS Project and Project Server
·Strong customer service skills and attention to details.
·Excellent time management and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize with changing situations.
·Demonstrated analytical skills and judgment to proactively identify and solve problems.
·Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to effectively drive tasks to completion.
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data base management tools
