Adjacency are recruiting a Financial Planning Analyst for one of the South West’s best known brands. This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation currently going through a period of change and transformation on a six month contract with a view to staying longer term. The role will come with a salary in the range of £45,000 to £55,000 which will be relative to experience. Reporting the FP&A Manager the Financial Planning Analyst will be responsible for preparation and delivery internal financial management reporting and supporting the short and long term planning process. The day to day role will include; Ensure the financial slides for inclusion into board papers, monthly management information pack and accompanying KPI reports are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines. Maintain close working relationships with the Heads of Departments and the Financial Controller to ensure accurate commentary of key variances are provided. Maintain flexibility of the management information pack to adapt to potential changes in the business organisational structure and meet the needs of a changing business/market. Co-ordinate monthly and quarterly forecast updates and provide Group cash flow analysis and rolling 18 month forecast.  Support in preparation of the annual budget for the Group. Review and develop systems and processes to ensure they remain relevant and appropriate to meet the efficient delivery of reports. Business development analysis, insight and support Ad-hoc analysis as required Experience and personal attributes required; Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA Experience of reporting and modelling software implementation or development preferred 2 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role Strong communicator with attention to detail and excellent written skills A positive can do attitude Ability to work under pressure and deliver on time Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, in particular PowerPoint and Excel including v-lookups, sum-ifs and pivot tables and use of tools such as TM1 or SAP BI will be advantageous.
