What are they looking for?

Our client currently has an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Meetings and Events Coordinator.

Within this role you will be expected to follow through any meeting and events from enquiry stage to completed event and final invoicing. Their Meetings and Events team are dedicated to bringing events to life and turning dreams into reality; their dedicated team thrive on creating an unforgettable guest experience.

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic candidate with a desire to share their passion for the hospitality industry by delivering consistent, seamless and exemplary service. Based in their busy Meetings and Events office, you will be at the hub of all departmental activity. You will work well under pressure with an accurate and consistent approach to customer service and departmental requirements. The role involves taking initiative and being pro-active as you will be responsible for responding to client requests and enquiries in a timely and appropriate manner.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, and be passionate about people with the confidence to liaise via telephone and in person, identifying opportunities to maximise revenue through up-selling.
