Do you have a desire to teach and motivate others?

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking experienced or qualified tutors to provide tuition on a one to one basis, either in or outside a school setting. Tutors will be working with secondary school students across a range of ages, abilities and subjects – ensuring variety within the role. Tuition will be provided to a variety of pupils including looked after students, children with special educational needs or excluded students. The tuition could also involve booster sessions for core subjects as well as year 7 catch up classes. If you have a previous history of working with children who have additional learning requirements or challenging behaviour, this role would be ideal for you, however we would be interested in hearing from those who do not necessarily have this experience.

A successful candidate would be educated to a degree level or a subject specialist. Tutors would be required to prepare and plan diverse sessions while also monitoring the progress of their tutees. Teaching Personnel will provide you with ongoing support and advice, as well as offering competitive pay rates dependent on experience. Tutors will be able to flexibly manage their own schedule, allowing you to work as frequently as you like within time frames that suit you. If you are passionate about teaching and enjoy seeing improvement and results then this may be the role for you.

If you are interested in tutoring please email a copy of your CV or call 01604521222.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
