Are you a Teaching Assistant looking to work in a Tameside Secondary school in September 2018?

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a number of secondary school in Tameside looking for teaching assistants who specialise in varying special educational needs. We are looking for candidates with experience in supporting students who have moderate learning difficulties, social emotional support needs, autism, ADHD and dyslexia.

If you are coming to the end of a contract in a similar position or are considering a career change from another sector we welcome your application. You will need to have experience working in a social carer or youth setting capacity if you have no previous school based experience. Our client school are looking for candidates who have a unique skill set and empathetic nature that will match up with their students support needs.

If you are looking to apply for the role of Teaching Assistant you will need to have suitable references and be eligible for a fully enhanced DBS certificate. Previous school based experience or a teaching assistant qualification would be beneficial but not essential.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
