JOB TITLE: DEPUTY CLERK/FINANCIAL OFFICER

WORKING HOURS: 25 hours per week (Monday – Friday 9 am – 1 pm additional 5 hours worked flexibly) plus attendance at evening meetings

SALARY & BENEFITS: £11.27 per hour -£21,693 (pro rata)

To work with others to improve safety, the environment and quality of life in the town, paying particular attention to the vulnerable members of our community and regularly and effectively consult the community to promote the local economy.

 

The role of a Deputy Clerk/Finance Officer is to provide support for the Town Clerk, Town Council and Town Mayor

 

THE CANDIDATE: Deputy Clerk/Finance Officer- Southam, Stratford-on-Avon

 

The ideal candidate for the Deputy Clerk/Finance Officer role will be an experienced Administrator with finance experience of dealing with Accounts, Audits, Payroll and VAT. Must be IT Literate – Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook & some Social Media

You will need to have an organised approach to work, proven people skills, be a team player, articulate, honest, reliable and committed with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability. You will need to live within a commutable distance to Southam.

 

Key experience essential for the role of Finance Officer:-  Southam, Stratford-on-Avon                                                       

 

•        Experience within Administration and Finance is essential

•        IT literate, with particular experience in using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
