We are working with a large Special Educational Needs school based in the Burnham who are currently recruiting for Special Educational Needs teaching assistants.

The School

The school caters for children 2-19 years of age, with Autism and Social and Emotional Needs. This is a Sports Specialist School, with the core aim to reduces pupils social anxieties and increase their social communicating with peers, by engaging them in team sports.

Ideal candidate:

* Personal or professional experience working with pupils with Autism.
* Experience using PEC’S, Makaton or British sign language (not essentials as training will be offered)
* Background in team sports either as a coach or team member.

Candidates will only be considered if have a DBS on the update service or willing apply for a DBS and register it on the update service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
