A highly sought-after opportunity has become available at an amazing National Autistic Society accredited primary school in Hayes. They are seeking to appoint graduates and experienced support staff with proven interest or experience supporting special needs.

This opportunity has been highly praised by both graduates and experienced staff for their approach to pupil learning, training, support, long term development focus and school team. Based in West London, the school has both close transport links to train stations Hayes & Harlington, West Drayton and regular bus links across Ealing and Hillingdon.

The support assistant role focuses on both 1:1 and 2:1 in class and general support of young children diagnosed with autism and associated learning difficulties. Successful candidates will be expected to deliver individual learning and behaviour plans devised within and be confident, innovative and open to continued development.

Requirements:

* 8:30 – 4:30pm Monday – Friday commitment (school term time)
* Proven interest and/or experience supporting special needs particularly autism
* Live in the borough of Hillingdon or be able to travel to Hayes daily
* Open to development and training

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
