MRICS Building Surveyor - Gravesend Kent

This role is for a MRICS Building Surveyor within a Building Consultancy Team of multi-disciplinary form of Chartered Surveyors in Kent.
This is an opportunity to join an expanding team based in the Gravesend offices.

What you will be doing:
With strong Building Surveying Skills in most service areas; the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering professional and project services.
The ideal candidate will contribute to the growth of the department. Working across all sectors, the role will involve the undertaking of an array of building
surveying services including but not limited to:
-Planned/Reactive maintenance
-Defect analysis
-Pre-acquisition Surveys
-Dilapidations
-Party Wall Maters
-Insurance Reinstatement Cost Assessments
-Bank Funded Construction and Development Monitoring
-Contract Administration
-CDM Co-ordination
-Project Management

Essentials skills and abilities:
-MRICS Chartered status is essential
-Experience of managing and communicating with clients
-Sound commercial awareness
-Sound knowledge and experience of drafting technical documents
-Sound knowledge of Health and Safety Requirements
-Excellent time management, punctuality and commitment
-Willingness to mentor junior surveyors and APC candidates
-Experience of CAD use and Design Work is desirable
