Our client is an award winning, multi-national ecommerce travel company located in central Brighton, employing over 100 team members - "a technology company that does travel".

They are expanding globally by launching new product ranges and websites, across a number of distribution and supply channels / web platforms. Key to the success of this expansion is the optimisation of new global channels and the acquisition of new and returning customers to their various language websites.

About the Digital Data Analyst role:

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced website conversion optimizer to join a company where you will be able to make your mark. You will be a skilled digital analyst with experience in website usability, conversion funnels, A/B and multivariate testing, who has the ability to hit the ground running, work well within a collaborative, agile team and have the initiative to promote / recommend and research new technologies and approaches.

You will play a key part in improving the conversion rates of various global websites within the B2C and B2B channels, working with various partners to create seamless paths to conversion for many customers in the UK, Europe and around the world - always with the aim of continuously optimising the website journey for customers.

The ideal Digital Data Analyst will need the following Experience/skills:

* Confidence using data and insight to increase conversion and optimise customer journey
* Highly technical, happy to conceive and construct online experiments with a sufficient working knowledge of CSS and html to be able to build your own tests/designs
* Successful track record of meeting online sales targets through use of conversion optimisation tools and tactics
* Highly analytical and resourceful, with the ability to collate, analyse, present, execute and follow up
* Experience in a digital/ecommerce trading environment
* Indepth knowledge of Google Analytics (or similar) including event tracking, segments, attribution, and the ability to crunch the hell out of the data to glean meaningful insights and recommendations
* Experience working in an organisation with multiple stakeholders, channels and partners
* Skilled using analytic tools to improve customer experience (such as Google Analytics, Optimizely, HP Optimost, Tealeaf)
* Experience utilising multivariate and A/B testing toolssuch as Optimizely, VWO, AB Tasty, Google Optimise, etc; also tools like Google Tag Manager or similar
* Creativity of problem solving with high degree of initiative and self-motivation
* Strong interpersonal skills with focus on teamworkand collaboration, especially with fellow Ecommerce team members, and key developers
* Motivated, self-starter and with proactive approach
* High calibre online marketer, with extensive experience in B2C/B2B business
* Familiarity with digital campaigns and channels, ability to analyse and optimise key customer journeys through entry pages from email, PPC, partner websites etc
* Ability to quality test thoroughly any changes made to the website
* Able to drive an idea through from concept to final delivery
* Ideally educated to degree level with appropriate marketing/ digital qualifications either post-graduate or professional training, or strong relevant work experience
* Experience of the travel industry preferred
