My client who are a scientific supplier based near Huntingdon are currently looking for a Generalist HR Administrator to join their busy team. The purpose of this role is to provide a full administrative service to wider HR team whilst remaining calm under pressure.

The ideal candidate for this role needs to have experience of working in a fast-paced international HR environment. As well as this, the candidate must have the ability to prioritise their workload effectively and work well in a high pressured office. It is essential that the candidate has worked in either a worldwide or EMEA business where they have completed a wide range tasks on a daily basis including produce reports and liaise with colleagues at all levels.

This role would suit someone who is seeking a generalist HR position where you can add value and make a difference in a successful growing business whilst paying attention to detail and not losing focus of the main objectives. If you're somebody who likes to have variation in your role then this could be for you as you will get involved in recruitment, administration, note taking in employee relations cases, running reports and acting as the first point of contact for all quires. The role is full time Monday - Friday and ideally would be a 6 month fixed term contract - permanent but can go straight permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

- Run recruitment for lower level roles from advert - interview - offer
- Process all new starters and leavers
- Liaise with agencies as and when required
- Run first day inductions for new starters
- Conduct exit interviews for leavers
- Help implement the new HRIS system
- Administer maternity and paternity requests as well as any contractual changes
- Run reports as required
- Act as the first point of contact for all internal quires
- Note taking in ER cases
- Monitor budgets and invoices and track them using an Excel spreadsheet

Personal Specification:

- A flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and work through accordingly
- Willingness to support the wider team with any tasks that are required on a regular or adhoc basis
