Membership Coordinator Chartered Institute – Membership Body South London Basic Salary £22,000-£25,000 Pro Rata with Pension, Sick Leave, Holiday and Social Activities 6 Month Temporary Contract Immediate Start Ideal My client a well-respected and leading chartered institute ba sed in South London is currently looking for a Membership Coordinator for a 6 Months Temporary Contract. Main Responsibilities: Assist with collating and preparing papers for the Regional Liaison Committee, which is held 3 times a year, and the International teleconference/International development Committee held 3 times a year. Assist international chapters and regional committees with their administration which may include: website maintenance and updates, event and newsletter mailings via email and mail recruitment of new committee members Collating regional material for the journal and e-newsletters each month Circulating statistics reports and general updates to all regions and chapters on a monthly basis. Update information on regional and chapter committees on the membership database. Deal with enquiries and process membership applications for both UK and International candidates at all grades. Deal with enquiries and process applications for EU Directive route Manage and arrange the Professional Review and Competence Review Interview schedule for regional and international candidates throughout the year. Liaise with the Hong Kong Office staff to organise Professional Review and Competence Review Interviews and processing of membership applications in Hong Kong. Coordinate, with the Membership Development Manager the President, President Elect and Vice President attendance at Regional events around the UK. Coordinate and book travel for the CEO and President and internal staff as required for overseas visits. Provide general administrative assistance to the membership team with tasks which may include: Reminding members to pay their annual subscription fees Updating the database Processing applications Responding to emails Attending events to promote membership. Essential: Experience of working in a customer focused environment, dealing with enquiries with tact and diplomacy Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written skills Good working knowledge of pc software, Microsoft Office and databases Ability to write agendas and minutes Experience of working with committees Experience of membership organisations Self motivated and ability to use own initiative Ability to work to tight deadlines with good personal organisation and time management skills Experience of giving accurate advice via telephone and email Desirable: Educated to degree level Experience of working in an international environment To apply to this role please send your CV Due to the volume of applications we are only able to contact successful applicants.
