15 Month Fixed Term Maternity Cover Office Administrator - Cliftonville, Margate Full time hours Monday – Friday Starting from £10.00 - £12.00 p/h dependent on experience We are seeking an experienced administrator to cover a variety of duties in our admin office. The role requires a skilled, flexible and capable approach, to oversee the day to day running of our small office and provide support to the directors. Main responsibilities of the role: Recording incoming payments and managing the sales ledger Maintaining the purchase ledger and arranging payments to suppliers Bank reconciliation Processing payroll, pensions and other benefits Submitting returns to HMRC for PAYE, CIS and VAT Issuing invoices and maintaining contract information Month and year end reporting and reconciliation Updating absence and holiday records Potentially managing a basic admin assistant The ideal candidate needs to have a working knowledge of payroll, accounts and administration, with experience in a similar role. Previous experience of using Pegasus Opera would be advantageous, however software training will be provided. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook are essential as well as basic computer skills. This is a varied role and will require someone who is willing to take on a challenge and capable of managing their time effectively.
