Teaching Personnel is currently working with a SEN school based in Coventry that caters for pupils wit ASC, ADHD & SEMH. They are looking for 2 HLTA's for the upcoming year 18/19 to work on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be an inspirational, motivated, professional who is passionate about providing outstanding support for children who may present with challenging behaviour. You will have an understanding of complex needs and some experience in social, emotional, mental health difficulties.

The successful candidate will have experience of Secondary curriculum and have a strong focus on literacy and numeracy. It is desirable for the candidate to have experience in working with students who have a range of special educational needs.
The successful applicant will be committed to raising students’ achievements and facilitating their success. They will also possess other pastoral and interpersonal strengths, with the ability to work collaboratively with other specialist agencies and colleagues and contribute to the continued development of WSAPC. They will have the ability to differentiate support in order to engage and raise students’ academic attainment. They will be resilient, engaging and enthusiastic with a proven track record of inspiring students who may have previously struggled to have a positive experience of education.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
