Job Title - Quality Manager

Location - Milton Keynes

Package - Up to �38k upwards (dependent on experience) + 6% matched + Life Assurance + 33 days of Holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays)

Hours of Work - Monday to Friday (7am to 4pm)


Our client is on the world's largest producers of containers and bottles for the Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Industries. With over 150 sites globally they produce trillion of units per year on their custom design and built injection moulding, blow moulding and stretch blow moulding machines.

Their Milton Keynes site specialises in the manufacturing of industrial containers, for products like bleach. Producing over 1 million bottles per day across 12 lines, production runs 24/7. Due to the volumes they are dealing with, the business have a well established LEAN and Continuous Improvement program running across all of their sites. As such they are running at 95% OEE, with breakdowns being reduced a minimum. This has not only allowed them to maximise production volumes and efficiency, but also to only have engineers in during the day.

The Role

As Quality Manager you will be responsible for:

* Managing all Quality procedures and practices across the two manufacturing sites.
* Ensuring Quality Standards and Systems are met and adhered to (ISO 9001, BRC, FSSC, HACCP).
* Deal directly with Customer Complaints, including customer visits.
* Perform Root Cause Analysis and putting in place corrective action.
* Perform full Quality Audits.
* Lead positive change within the department.
* Liaise with Manufacturing and Engineering departments to quickly resolve any Quality issues.

The Candidate

To be successful in your application the client is looking for the following skills and attributes:

* Have an Engineering, Chemical or Quality based qualification.
* Previous experience managing a Quality Team in an automated production environment.
* Proven track record working to ISO9001 standards.
* Must have previous experience with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)
* Must have previous experience performing BRC Audits.


As part of their continued development of staff and their keen focus on LEAN manufacturing, the successful applicant will receive LEAN and Continuous Improvement Training, gaining recognised Qualifications.
