HR Administrator - Operations team

News UK is delighted to be recruiting a HR Administrator to work within our HR Operations team.

You will be the first point of call for all Operational HR matters, and therefore responsible for the delivery of first line customer service and HR administration to over 3,000 employees.

Working in an established team, you will be working with likeminded individuals who all have a common goal to provide first class HR support to the business.

The role will include, but will not be limited to;

* Providing advice and assistance to employees, line managers and HR Business Partners across the Organisation
* Ensuring all processes and procedures are followed
* Maintaining accurate HR records on SAP, this includes identifying any incorrect information and updating the error, or escalating where necessary
* Co-ordinating and processing all new starters & leavers within the Company
* Ensuring all employees have a valid right to work check on file
* Processing maternity / paternity / shared parental leave cases
* Maintaining accurate benefit information
* Compiling and updating employee records, ensuring compliance with GDPR
* Logging and monitoring sickness, and all other types of absence
* Produce letters for contractual changes, and other administration tasks
* Answering Subject Access Requests
* Building and managing relationships with stakeholders
* Ensuring all Service Level Agreements are met where appropriate
* Working closely with payroll to answer payroll related queries

We are looking for individuals who have come from a strong administration background, ideally within HR, who have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will have the ability to communicate with people at all levels of seniority, have a strong attention to detail, and be able to prioritise and multi-task. Above all, you will be passionate about HR and delivering high levels of customer service.

The ideal candidate will:

* Have excellent organisational skills
* Take a proactive approach to all tasks, and have the initiative to research issues and resolve problems independently
* Have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Have a general knowledge of UK employment law
