This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Business Change & Innovation Team, based at our Head Office in Skipton. Whilst the service is technical and change delivery, this role is to support and develop our people. In close collaboration with the other Leaders, you will drive the technical responsibilities of the team, who are dedicated to the progression of change. Main responsibilitiesWorking as part of a diverse leadership team, you will be leading and providing first line manager responsibility to a team of change delivery specialists. Working together, you will be developing and maintaining a culture of challenge and support in both day to day activities and longer term personal development.  You will drive and support the wider BC&I operational development to enhance the service delivered. Key accountabilities include:

Drive the team department to understand the needs of our customers and consider better outcomes in all aspects of the change lifecycle
Lead, motivate, inspire and engage own team and key stakeholders
Consistently role modelling the values and behaviours; promoting and recognising good behaviours
Identify the learning and development needs of the team and individuals through regular coaching, 121s and on going feedback
Promote a culture which encourages personal and professional development to build capability, develop potential and support career planning, aligned to organisational needs
Support the development of policies, processes and practices that are progressive and meet or exceed customer and stakeholder needs, aligned with business requirements

Ideal candidateWe are looking for people with excellent leadership, coaching and mentoring skills who can gain the trust and respect of the team and senior management. The ability to influence, engage and work in partnership with stakeholders, peers and direct reports is essential, in order to support the achievement of working objectives. You will require a proven track record of delivering results by creating a high performing culture, effectively communicating, influencing and negotiating with others at all management levels.
