Teaching Personnel are seeking a History Teacher to fulfil a vacancy in a large school we are partnered with based in the Derbyshire area. The vision of the school is to provide a centre of academic excellence where all students and staff have the opportunity to work hard to achieve their personal best.

The Principal, senior leaders and governors are relentless in their pursuit of better teaching and outcomes for all groups of students. The Coaching of staff and regular monitoring have led to good improvements since the previous inspection. This results in students making good progress in academic and vocational courses.

They are seeking to appoint a History teacher to join the team on a Full-Time basis from September 2018.

The successful candidate will be expected to work within the current curriculum and teach up to Key Stage 4. To be considered candidates must have recent experience of working as a History teacher in a UK classroom setting and we are happy to accept CV's from both Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) and Fully Qualified Teachers (FQTs).

The role is to start in September for the correct candidate, based on suitable references, and will run until July 2019.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
