Graduate Test Development Engineer

Location: Chippenham, Wiltshire

Salary: Competitive

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours)

Purpose of the Graduate Test Development Engineer:

To gain experience and learn skills to be able to independently design and develop Automatic Test Equipment solutions to the highest quality. This will involve learning both hardware and software skills:-

* Design and develop electronic test applications for functional test.
* Prepare and develop product test specifications and procedures in-line with customer's requirements.
* Develop Test Programmes using languages such as LabVIEW and TestStand .

Requirements of the Graduate Test Development Engineer:

* Formal engineering qualification in electronic engineering/electrical engineering. Ideally degree qualified in Electronic Engineering, or other related subject. HNC/D in Electronic Engineering may be considered in lieu of experience.
* A Level (or equivalent) in at least 2 of the following:- Maths, Physics, Design Technology, IT , Electronics.
* 5 GCSE's at Grade C or above.
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to work on a variety of projects.
* Strong verbal and written skills and a good communicator at all levels.
* Team player and contributor.
* Methodical with good attention to detail.
* Self-starter and Self-Motivated.
* Strong planning and time management skills - able to define and meet deadlines and targets.
* Takes ownership and responsibility for personal actions/contribution and projects.
* Agreeable and eligible to obtain required level of Security Clearance.
* Hold full UK or EU Drivers Licence.
