The Company is currently looking for a dedicated, organised part time Breakfast Chef to join their kitchen team, at their exciting award-winning hotel and restaurant in South Devon. The position is permanent.
A part time Chef role at this Company is like no other. You will be working with a menu that is influenced by the kitchen garden and the local area which can change by the hour and certainly every day. It can be challenging at times but very rewarding.

Key Features of the Role:
As a Part Time Breakfast Chef you will be required to;
Commit to early starts and part time hours working 4 or 5 days a week.
Highly organised.
A passion for modern British food.
Running the breakfast service.
Ensuring standards are maintained on made to order and buffet items.
Responsible for food prep for the next day and providing the staff lunch.

Knowledge and Skills:
You should be an accomplished Breakfast Chef with experience of working in a fresh food kitchen at a similar level.
Above all you must be a real "foodie" able to spread the word to the Company's customers about the importance of the art of serving good, fresh and local food in an ever-increasing world where convenience is becoming the norm, they need people who have a love and passion for all things food.
You should possess ambition to continually push yourself to move up to the next career level.
Your practical experience should ideally be supported by some form of catering qualification.
You will be a great team player with good organisational skills with the ability to thrive in a very busy hotel and restaurant, where the Company's reputation for consistently preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to the right quality, is second to none.
You should have a passion for producing the perfect dish every time, having a desire to aim for high standards.
Previous experience in a similar role requiring a broad food knowledge and precise attention to detail is essential, with fresh, quality food and someone who can thrive under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.

What's on Offer?
A basic salary up to �20k per annum pro rata'd according to the number of agreed hours to be worked, plus Tronc worth around �2500 per annum again pro rata'd according to the number of agreed hours to be worked, A live in option is available subject to a personal contribution towards the rent.
Working early morning 4 or 5 days per week with 2 or 3 days off per week.
Holiday entitlement is 20 days plus all bank and public holidays, rising by 1 day each year for 5 years.
