Are you an enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher looking for your new teaching post?

Are you looking for work starting in September 2018?

Teaching Personnel has an Ideal role for you!

Teaching Personnel is currently working in partnership with a secondary school in the Blackburn area to recruit a Chemistry Teacher to start in September 2018 for a possible permanent position. The successful candidate will complete an initial temporary probationary period. Upon the successful completion of this the school will place the Teacher onto a permanent contract. The school is looking for a teacher happy to teach Physics up to A-Level and be experienced delivering the new science specifications.

The school has been graded “Good” in all areas by Ofsted in a recent inspection. The school has exceptionally high standards for both pupil behaviour in school and attitudes to learning. For a candidate to be considered they should be able to uphold these high standards in their own teaching.

A suitable candidate should be experienced delivering science across all 3 specialisms to GCSE level. With experience delivering Chemistry to A-level. The school follows AQA science across both GCSE and A-Level, so experience working with this exam board would be preferable, however, not essential.

As a nationally recognised Teaching School there is a wide variety of training opportunities available. The school are seeking a member of staff who is committed to their own development. An extensive induction programme is available for NQT’s considering this role.

If you are interested in this role but only available from January 2019 then the school would still be interested in meeting with you! A later start could be accommodated for a candidate well suited to the role!

If you would like to find out more, contact Rob at Teaching Personnel (Preston Secondary) as soon as possible or make your application by submitting your CV and contact details.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
