STR Group are working with a private hospital in Oxfordshire. We are currently recruiting for a Theatre Scrub Practitioners.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Either an NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC registered ODP
Have experience of working in a Theatre environment as a Scrub Practitioner
Experience of scrubbing in one following areas:

Ideally you will have the following also:

Experience of working in the private sector

Due to increased activity and winning new contracts, we are looking for Scrub Practitioners to join our client's theatre team. The department has three theatres and is expanding its current lists to include Gynaecology, Urology and Ophthalmology on top of its very successful Orthopaedics offering.

The hospital is located in Oxfordshire close to the M40 and Warwickshire borders. It is rated Good by the CQC.

The position is offered as a full-time permanent position. You will be employed to work 37.5 hours per week. Typically this is worked between 8am and 8pm, with shifts of 8am to 6pm and twilight shifts. Some Saturday working will be involved, as the whole team covers Saturdays, but is only once in every 3 or 4 weeks.

Salary for the position is between �28,000 and �34,000 and will be dependent on your suitability, experience and current salary / role. On top of this is a range of benefits that includes a bonus scheme, pension, life assurance, starting at 33 days annual leave and much more. Free parking is available locally also, along with subsidised meals. Also for unsocial working additional enhancements are paid on top of your regular wage.
