Full time Teacher of English, required from September 2018 for a Salford based faith Secondary School.

Education and experience for Teacher of English:

* Qualified Teacher Status alongside a degree level qualification in English, English Literature and or English Language.
* Both experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply as there is an excellent induction programme in place to provide o going support for staff.
* Opportunity to work in an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ RC Faith School.
* Extensive knowledge of the English National Curriculum, up to a minimum of Key Stage 4.
* Teacher of English MPS/UPS �22, 917 - �38, 633.

* Plan, prepare and deliver dynamic English lessons across Key Stage 3-4.
* Maintain positive behaviour in the classroom using behaviour management strategies to ensure pupils are engaged, in accordance to policies in place at school

* Monitor, assess and evaluate pupil achievement taking appropriate action.
