JOB TITLE: Junior IT Technician

WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours per week 

THE COMPANY: Trinity Academy opened in September 2005 and replaced Thorne Grammar School as it celebrated its 75th Anniversary. Serving the townships of Thorne and Moorends, in the north-east of Doncaster, Trinity is part of Emmanuel Schools Foundation and is also a part of the Academies Programme. They are now looking for a Junior IT Technician to join them. 

THE ROLE: We have an exciting opportunity within our IT department as we are seeking to appoint a Junior IT Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing IT support to the staff and students of Trinity Academy and also the wider staff within the Emmanuel Schools Foundation. The Junior IT Technician will ensure that IT systems are maintained and supported to the highest standard and work will be undertaken in accordance with service level agreements and as required by the Head of IT.

The role will suit someone who is looking to gain experience and grow within the IT sector and with an eagerness to work towards the next level.

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the Junior IT Technician role will have a passion for IT. You will need to have a minimum of 5 GCSEs grade A-C or equivalent. A GCSE or A Level in IT would be desirable but is not essential.

Key experience essential for the Junior IT Technician role: 
• A minimum of 5 GCSEs grade A- C or equivalent
