We are currently working with a primary, secondary and Post-16 school in Uxbridge, West London who are looking for those with care backgrounds to work at the school on a long term and potential permanent basis. This school caters for children with physical disabilities, severe learning difficulties and autism across the spectrum. The role involves supporting children with physical support, learning and overall development in the classroom and throughout the school day.

Successful applicants ideally will have previous experience supporting young people with special needs and medical conditions. However, the school offers regular training for those who may not hold experience in this area and we offer Safeguarding Level 2 courses prior to placement.

The school will accept applicants with the below backgrounds:

* Care Workers
* Healthcare Assistant
* Nursing
* Palliative Care

Relevant training such as Moving and Handling, PEG feeding and personal care would be an advantage to your application.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
