Are you immediately available? As I have an exciting, and urgent opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a well known transport business based in the Dukinfield area!! As a Purchase Ledger Clerk your daily duties will be: Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries Managing petty cash transactions Reconciling finance accounts and direct debits Making payments via BACS and cheques Processing staff expenses Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details Reconciliation of supplier statement Processing expenses Matching, batching and coding to goods received notes (GRNs) or purchase orders (POs) Statement reconciliations Dealing with queries Processing invoices Raising payments Completing the end to end accounts payable function The ideal Purchase Ledger Clerk will have: Self-disciplined and efficient, with a flexible and proactive nature Experienced in Excel and Microsoft office packages Knowledge of software packages such as SAGE and BACS Demonstrable experience of bookkeeping Ability to work to deadlines Excellent communication skills Solid team working skills This is a great temp to perm opportunity for any immediately available Purchase Ledger Clerks to be part of a great team and also have the autonomy to make the role your own!
