RSR Police is a market leading recruitment business dedicated to supplying experienced practitioners on a temporary, contractual or permanent basis to the Law Enforcement, Cyber Security, Offender Management and Regulatory Services talent markets.

RSR Police are currently recruiting for a MIR Indexer for an initial 6 month Contract based Manchester.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Receive and register all documentation from the Receiver.
• Raise any Actions as instructed, checking for any previous Actions raised.
• Index content of the document, following guidance from the Receiver.
• Create and maintain designated indexes: - Nominal, location, vehicle, telephone, category, sequence of events, Organisations and exhibits.
• Fully index all documentation as indicated by Receiver or Reader, on both hard copy or by graphical mark-up facility.
• Carefully checking all instructions contained within the document have been carried out.
• Endorse documents as indexed, either manually or electronically.
• Typing results of completed Actions as instructed and endorse Action.
• Registration of all documentation either with or without accompanying Actions.
• Receiving telephone calls from members of the public and recording information on Message format.

Person Specification
• Knowledge of MIRSAP
• HOLMES trained
