Summary:
This role will play a key role in picking & packaging goods, stock replenishment, the inspection of goods coming in/ out and liaising with key suppliers. The role would be ideal for someone who is familiar with working in an engineering environment as a support role in these areas.

Role:
The company are currently looking for a well organised, hardworking computer literate professional to join their expanding organisation. A key focus of the role will include the packing of goods, dealing with suppliers, monitoring the stock of selected items and ordering of replacement stock. In addition, you will help with the inspection of Goods Inwards, processing of Spares Orders and liaising with customers and suppliers. You will assist in the maintenance of Price Lists / Databases and provide prices to clients and internal sales staff. The individual will work alongside the engineering and general staff to update and maintain prices for spares and parts. This will include older projects for which information may not always be readily available, therefore requires the individual to take ownership of the task and be diligent.

Their equipment consists of electronics for measuring things such as temperature, pressure and pH plus stirred glass and metal chambers that are heated/cooled for performing the experiments and all this is integrated through software.

Operating internationally, they are a company that specialises in the research and development of chemical reactors and systems. They provide both automated and manual tools for process R&D to clients in the pharmaceutical, fine chemical and petrochemical industries, as well as in academia.

Originally established in 1987, the company has grown to include a complete team of chemists and chemical engineers, working from our fully equipped testing facility in the UK. Bonus:
A discretionary annual bonus is payable after probationary period at the start of each calendar year. This will be based on such factors as the Company’s trading results and capacity to pay, the employee’s performance, length of service, etc.

Pension Scheme:
There is a contributory pension scheme which staff will be invited to join on the first day of the month following completion of 12 months service.

- Employer contributes 10%
- Employee contributes 5%

Annual Leave Entitlement:
In addition to holidays designated as Public Holidays, annual leave entitlement is 22 days, of which normally three days and a maximum of four are to be taken as specified by the Company over the Christmas to New Year period.
