Sales Account Executive - Midlands

Salary - Circa £25k + 20% Bonus + Car + Phone +Pension +Expenses Card

Due to an increasing workload, our client are now looking for a Sales Account Executive to join there busy sales team in Nottingham.
The company are looking for enthusiastic and loyal individual to join them in their success as they continue to grow year on year.

The Client
Our client is a leading firm for delivering quality technical apparel brand, serving sailors across the sport from grass roots to professionals, and from Dinghy to Ocean Sailing.
The firm design everything by listening to sailors and their needs. Distributed around the world to 37 countries and more recently through a global Ecommerce platform. The company enjoys the position of a leading brand within its sector, and has an excellent reputation for quality and customer service.

The Role
As a regional Sales Account Exec, you will be a key member of the company`s sales team, responsible for looking after the companies most important wholesale and corporate customers throughout the UK.
The geographic area is regionalised to ensure focus, but as you would expect there is a very strong concentration by coastal areas. This role involves building strong commercial relationships with accounts, most of which the company has traded with for many years.

Skills and Experience
The successful post-holder will have a:
Proven track record in a field sales role with experience of managing larger retailers in the consumer goods sector
Highly professional approach with a strong ability to communicate at all levels
Highly proficient in quality client presentations, utilising technology, PowerPoint etc.
Strong negotiator
Highly competent IT skills with particular reference to monthly reporting and planning
Proficiency in analysing and using financial and historic data to support business decisions
Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Integrity and professionalism
Highly organised, Flexible approach to work, Personable and articulate
Target driven and results motivated
Attributes - Desirable:
Experience with sailing, performance sportswear or lifestyle apparel brands
Knowledge of the sport of sailing, wider water sports markets or lifestyle sports

Minimum 40 hours a week
A mix of office and off-site work with travel required
Training on software and other techniques will be provided as required
