We are seeking an energetic, flexible special needs teaching assistant to work in a KS1 class for a SEN school in South Woodford area. This is a full time role for an immediate start to work with a small class of pupils with various SEN needs; severe learning difficulties , autistic learners and some pupils with a statement of moderate learning difficulties. Due to learners needs the successful teaching assistant will be able to provide support with nappy changing and supporting in the transporting of wheel chair users. The school is part of large multi site academy of SEN schools and for the successful candidate the possibility of a permanent contract will be available after a probation period.

KS1 SEN Teaching assistant:

* Able to work with SEN needs ; severe learning difficulties , autism and moderate learning difficulties
* Previous experience with SEN highly desired
* Be able to support with toileting and nappy changing
* Manual handling training or experience desired
* Monday - Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm term time only - Full time post
* Immediate start

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
