Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a SEN school in Frome that caters for pupils between the ages of 4-19. They are looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant.

Your role as a SEN Teaching Assistant will include:

* Supporting the pupils with the teaching and learning process
* Assist teaching staff in the development of learning strategies and maintenance of a safe, secure and suitable learning environment
* To provide supervision of pupils within the classroom and outside of the school

To be considered for this role, it is essential you have the following:

* GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
* Previous experience in a similar/comparative role
* Ability to develop, maintain and apply knowledge and understanding of pupils general and specific needs
* Good organisational and creative skills
* Good communication skills, oral and written
* Willingness to be flexible in working arrangements
* Ability to maintain confidentiality

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
