Event and Marketing Coordinator - Chester Based

Salary Up to £25k basic depending on experience.

Our distinguished client help their clients create and preserve wealth through effective
financial planning and portfolio management.

Due to continued and successful growth they are now seeking a talented, creative person to take responsibility for their event planning and marketing from their Chester office

The Role of the Event & Marketing Coordinator:

• Support the Directors in coordinating and delivering regional seminars and events, including compiling data lists, liaising with data and mailing companies, designers, printers and venues
• Be the point of contact in term of responses to invitations and process responses appropriately. Confirming attendees, preparation of badges, information packs and feedback questionnaires. Reporting back to Directors
• Assist in the preparation of PowerPoint presentations
• First contact to potential clients following seminars
• Diary management for Advisers
• Support the Directors in delivering campaign activity for the BD plans, including completing design and digital campaign forms, suggestions for website pages/animations and setting up the campaign launch.
• Manage client testimonials
• Coordinate the website updates across the sector and maintain update and accurate content.
• Updating and cleansing lead information as required as part of the process for ensuring the system is as reliable as possible for reporting purposes.

The Candidate:

• Experience of event management
• A marketing professional with marketing and business development administration experience.
• The ability to build strong relationships at all levels quickly and be a confident communicator.
• A suitable qualification in Marketing
• 3+ years’ proven experience
• Excellent communication, organisational and multitasking skills
• Excellent IT skills and high attention to detail
• Efficient in all Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

The successful candidate will have experience in organising company events, dealing with the event from start to finish, liaising with clients, suppliers and internal figures.
