Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a large mixed comprehensive Secondary school in Oldham, who require a Design and Technology Technician from September 2018.

The successful Technician will be based in the large Technology department, supporting Resistant Materials teachers and other staff within the faculty. This position will initially be offered on a temporary basis for one term, with the view of continuation for the successful Design and Technology Technician.

Situated in Oldham, close to the A570 and M62 motorway with excellent public transport links to Rochdale, central Oldham and Tameside, this is a larger than average Secondary school with excellent facilities. The post of Design and Technology Technician will require you to prepare resources for lessons at the direction of teachers, using machinery relevant to the subject (previous experience essential), and supporting pupils in class.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
