EA to HR Director/HR Coordinator - £28,000 - £32,000 - St.Paul's This is a great opportunity for candidates with a PA/EA background who are looking to make the move into an HR role. You will be the lynch-pin of the team, supporting the 5 team members on all issues HR and recruitment. The PA/EA background would be beneficial as there will be an element of diary management and scheduling of interviews. The business is in the professional services space and has a headcount of c.500. This role would be to join on a 6 month FTC to help out with HR related tasks. The team are collaborative and supportive, they have a great culture in HR. Standards are high and they take pride in their work but also have a social side. You will be engaged in a broad scope of Human Resource activities, supporting employees, contractors and managers (up to Board level), across all lines of business within the group. You would be dealing with employees from entry level to senior management and board level which means that you will need to be able to adapt your style and present yourself in an articulate manner, building rapport with people who may initially be daunting to you. Day to day duties will include: Creation of employee personnel files (in both electronic and paper format) as new hires join the business. Filing of all employee related documentation (in both electronic and paper format as relevant) within employee personnel files Responding to all reference requests received from external third parties, in a timely manner Drafting of Offer Letters & Contracts or Employment Issuing 'New Starter Packs' Supporting Human Resources Business Partners by means of minute taking at formal meetings, including Employee Grievance Meetings, Employee Disciplinary Meetings, Performance Management Meetings, Flexible Working Meeting Support the Recruitment Manager with interview coordination and inbox management Use of Excel - prior knowledge of vlookups and pivot tables would be highly beneficial L&D administration including scheduling training sessions and liaising with external training providers Only candidates with a can-do attitude and with a genuine passion for HR should apply. Excellent attention to detail is also non-negotiable - you should be the type of person who always spots typos and spelling mistakes. You will be obsessed with getting things right!
