A friendly and successful school with a caring and inclusive ethos, located in the centre of Swansea is looking for a TA - just a short 10 minute walk from the central train station.

We are looking for an assistant who:
• Is committed to supporting the ethos of the school
• Has energy and enthusiasm for the role
• Can provide learning and emotional support to pupils
• Is able to assist the class teacher with daily administrative tasks
• Is reliable, flexible and patient
• Has a good level of spoken and written English and Maths
• Has experience supporting children with emotional, social and behavioural needs
• Has experience working with SEN children
• Is willing to undertake general classroom support on a regular basis, under the guidance of the class teacher
• Can turn challenges into possibilities
• Is able to collaborate and be part of a great team
• Is able to communicate well with colleagues and parents

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
