Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to expand our team through the recruitment of a Light Vehicle Apprentice Assessor in Scotland.

What distinguishes you as our ideal Apprentice Assessor?

As our ideal candidate, you will possess extensive post apprenticeship experience in a relevant motor industry subject. We would ideally look for a candidate with experience as an Automotive Assessor however this is not essential to be considered for the role. To be successful in this role, you will require the following skills and experience:

- Able to learn new vehicle technologies and sub systems, including diagnostics
- IT literate with working knowledge of multimedia and publishing software
- Experience in delivery of technical training material but not essential
- Valid, clean driving license


What will I be responsible for?

Joining our team as a Light Vehicle Apprentice Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing learners / apprentices in their workplace and at the Bosch STB towards their relevant qualifications including guiding, mentoring and giving appropriate feedback where required. Daily tasks will include:

- Assessing candidates against agreed S/NVQ, Core Skills & Vocationally Related Qualification standards of competence using a range of assessment methods
- Where required delivering technical training and functional skills in compliance with Awarding Body Schemes of Work and specified Bosch Automotive Training quality standards.
- Monitoring and updating all allocated Individual Learning Plans (ILP) to ensure timely and accurate learner progression.
- Carrying out welfare and learner review visits to specified quality standards.
- Supporting the Business Development Team (BDT) with in-company inductions for new learners, in compliance with the Bosch matching process.
- Monitoring issues affecting an individual learner's Health & Safety in the training environment and their workplace.
