Are you a graduate of English looking for a career in Education and looking for an opportunity that give you valuable school based experience?

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an English Teacher to fill a full time vacancy at a specialist Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) secondary school in Romsey. Attending pupils will be aged between 11 - 16 years old, and have all been statemented with Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP).

Applying candidates must have full knowledge and be confident in relaying all core aspects of the English Literature and Language curriculum. As an SEMH Teacher you will be required to support and deliver the curriculum on a group basis and be able to work alongside other professionals including social workers, local authorities to ensure the child's lesson plans are accessible. This may include differentiating lesson plans and working with great improvisation due to late calls/placements.

Requirements

Education: Bachelors (2:1 or above)

Successful candidates will previous experience with: SEMH, Challenging Behaviour, EBD, ADHD and vulnerable children.

Salary

Earn �110 - �125 per day (Dependent on qualifications/experience)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
