Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for 2 dynamic Teaching Assistants to support with SEN children across KS1. This will be within a lovely 3 form entry Infant School located a short walk from Swiss Cottage Tube Station. There will be opportunities to sign a permanent contract at the school in the future!

The Position

The role is to support a number of different SEN children in KS1 with needs including Autism, Global Developmental Delay and Speech & Language challenges. Specialisms with any of these areas would be ideal. Supporting with academic work and core/life skills will be equally important in what will be a varied position. Plenty of support will be provided by the school SENCO with weekly progress reviews to assist.

Hours will be 8:30-4pm on Monday to Friday and it will be a long term contract until the end of the academic year if successful. Pay will be between �70-�80 per day depending on experience.

To Be Successful

Candidates with the following are more likely to be shortlisted:

* Undergraduate Degree or Childhood Related Qualification
* At least 1 Year experience working with children (school based or other relevant)
* Sound knowledge of Special Educational Needs and supporting techniques.
* Some knowledge of KS1 curriculum including Phonics Screening.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
