A client school in the Fallowfield area of Manchester (M14) are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 team on a full time basis starting in September. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who display challenging behaviours and will have a flexible and proactive approach to supporting learning with in schools. The role is to work in a two form entry primary school which prides itself on ‘equality of opportunity’ and is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who can work effectively alongside other KS2 practitioners.

The successful applicant will work in the schools year 4 class with a child with severe ADHD. The child can display extremely challenging behaviour and works from a targeted EHCP. The child has specific goals to reach and needs continuous reinforcement. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant with a calm nature and a compassionate attitude who can build up a strong working relationships with the child.

* Be able to work comfortably with children in small groups and on a 1:1 basis

This is a full time, KS2 SEN TA post in a “GOOD” Manchester primary school (M14). This position is to start in September and will run up until the end of the academic year. The opportunity to work onto a school based contract may be possible for the right candidate!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
