Maths Teacher – Bolton

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a large Secondary school in the Bolton LEA. The school wish to appoint a forward thinking and ambitious Maths Teacher for a ‘Good’ graded mixed comprehensive Secondary school in Bolton. The school are offering a 12 month fixed term contract with a view to securing a permanent position following this initial temporary period.

This position has arisen due to a restructure of responsibility within the Maths faculty, and an increase in student numbers for September 2018.

* Pay in line with MPS and UPS scale (�22,917 - �38,633 per annum)
* Teaching Maths to students up to KS4 ranging in ability
* Work alongside a team of experienced Maths specialists and a supportive Senior Leadership Team
* Must hold QTS and PGCE specialising in Maths

Our client Secondary school are accepting applications from Maths teachers of all experience levels and are willing to offer complete support to the successful Maths teacher throughout the position. The incoming Math teacher will be responsible for a full timetable which will include full marking and planning responsibilities, being able to manage time effectively and stretch students to achieve above their expected grades.

Located in Bolton, the school can easily be accessed via the M61 motorway. Public transport links are easily accessible via the surrounding areas of Wigan, Chorley, Preston, Bury and Salford.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
