The Education Specialists are looking to appoint enthusiastic and dynamic Teaching Assistants to work in a SEN School based in the Trafford area. The school cater for pupils aged 11-19 who have a range of learning difficulties and additional needs. The school provides a positive and inclusive learning environment by recognising and valuing pupil's individual strengths to allow pupils to access learning to the best of their ability. The school and staff aim to provide a nurturing learning environment, a tailored curriculum and interventions to meet the pupils needs. We are seeking experienced teaching assistants who are excellent practitioners, with a creative and dynamic approach to supporting learning and are willing to commit to on a long-term basis to the school.  When attending a school on behalf of TES you may be required to work both on a 1:1 and group basis supporting the pupils in all aspects of school life.  This role will include various tasks such as; · Supporting individuals to complete set tasks within the classroom. · Promoting independence within the school environment. · Leading small groups under direction of the teacher. · Implementing behaviour strategies. · Working in partnership with teachers and other TA’s to provide a stable, positive environment for learning. · Supervising community activities with the pupils. All individuals working on behalf of TES are required to hold an enhanced DBS and will be subject to safeguarding/vetting checks. Who can apply?
