Senior DSP Engineer – Cambridge

As a Senior DSP Engineer, you will know how complex your work can be. However, sometimes this work can become repetitive. I have a role at the moment that will challenge you daily with DSP Engineering problems you could not even imagine.

Based in Cambridge, a technology organisation is currently developing a number of different technologies for applications in the wireless, satellite and communications sectors. You will work on a range of problem-solving projects, meaning you will always be challenged and never get bored in your role.

As this company is pushing the sector and inventing new technologies, your problem-solving skills will need you to be inventive with your ideas. People who tend to do quite well in this role have technical hobbies that involve problem solving. These hobbies could be puzzle related, coding, engine building or other hobbies that would spring up complex problems from time to time. If you have any hobbies like this, please include it in your CV.

As expected in a complex role like a Senior DSP Engineer, you will need to have strong programming skills backed up with extensive knowledge of signal processing. Due to advancements in technology/engineering sectors, some projects will be in the Machine Learning and AI sectors, so any knowledge in these fields will be highly advantageous, but not essential.

As you would expect, you would also need to hold a degree within a related field along with several years experience in industry. Some projects may require you to hold security clearance, due to this you will ideally be able to secure security clearance or already hold some.

Apart from working on the creation of brand new industry defining technologies, you will also be rewarded with an excellent salary, benefits package, bonus, relocation assistance when required and continual training and development to keep you ahead of technology trends and improve your career options in the company.

This is a unique and interesting role, so I expect a lot of interest. If you are interested in the role yourself, make an application now or risk missing out.
