A two form entry Central Manchester primary school (M19) are recruiting for an experienced teaching assistant to join their KS2 team on a full time basis. The successful candidate will work with a child with severe ADHD and SEMH on a 1:1 basis. The child requires a teaching assistant who will support them full time and will aid their learning in all areas. The ideal candidate will have an energetic nature, will be pro active in supporting learning and will have an optimistic working attitude.

This ‘GOOD’ primary school has a vibrant ethos and aims to ‘create and maintain a safe learning environment for staff and students like’. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with children and will have supported children with special educational needs, specifically ADHD and SEMH. The post is full time and will start after October half term.

The ideal candidate will,

* Have experience supporting children with ADHD or SEMH
* Have worked in a KS2 primary setting
* Have experience supporting children on IEP’s

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
