Sports coach required for a Salford Secondary School, from September 2018.

Our client Secondary school are seeking to appoint a dynamic, flexible and inspiring Sports Coach to work within their PE faculty, on an ad-hoc basis, throughout the new academic year 2018-2019.

As PE and Sports are both enjoyed across the school amongst all pupils, there is now an increased demand for an experienced Sports Coach to join this diverse Secondary school.

* Flexible; full time/ part time Sports Coach required, September 2018.
* Must have previous experience working with young people in a sports coaching capacity.
* Subject specific qualifications and training are highly desirable.
* Access to CPD training programmes.
* Earn up to �1200 per month, dependant upon experience.

The PE department has an impressive number enrichment activities with up to a hundred pupils who represent the school at sports fixtures. Pupils consistently achieve high levels of success at GCSE Sport, BTEC and GCSE/BTEC PE.

The successful Sports Coach will be working alongside the PE faculty, with access to state of the art resources within modern facilities. There will also be a requirement to cover other lessons with pre-set work across the curriculum.

The position will be appointed to the Department of Sport and Physical Education;

* Assist in the development of programmes within the PE department alongside staff members.
* Deliver dynamic pre-planned Sports sessions to pupils across the school at Key Stage 3 & 4.
* Cover cross curricular lessons with pre-set work.
* Support class teachers within the faculty with the preparation of all Sports/PE activities.
* Positively manage behaviour amongst all pupils in accordance to school behaviour policies.
* Promote the school’s vision, aims, objectives and values.

Located at the heart of Salford this growing Secondary School can easily be accessed via the A580 (East Lancashire Road) and the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton and Wigan. There are also various public transport options available with links across Great Manchester.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
