The company

Our client is an award winning, prestigious private day nursery who is looking for a committed, energetic, enthusiastic, outgoing and friendly candidate to join their established team. The candidate will be responsible for children ages 2-3 years.

The Role

The candidate will be an experienced childcare professional with at least one years` experience and be qualified to a minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education. Using the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and parental aspirations, the candidate will be committed to delivering the very best care and stimulation to each child. This will include planning, observing and assess each child, record keeping, assisting with feeding and snack times, interacting with parents and updating them on their child`s progress and ensuring Health and safety/safeguarding standards are met. The candidate must also be dedicated to developing and progressing their own knowledge and skills as this is a rewarding position with scope for progression within the organisation. The client is committed to staff development and full training will be given to assist with progression in this fun and exciting working environment.

Essential Requirements

NVQ Level 3 Childcare and education
At least one year`s experience
Experience and knowledge of the safeguarding practice
A firm understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
A First Aid Qualification is preferred

Excellent communicator both verbally and non-verbally
