Business Development Manager - Part Time

Location: Horsham, West Sussex

Salary: �18,000, plus commission package.

Hours: 9.00 - 17.30

Duration: 3 days per week, working from our office in Horsham.

Our client has been established for 20 years and is one of the leading creative video and multimedia production companies in the South East, with an impressive existing client base. You'll be part of a small and dedicated team - in a great company.

As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for promoting & selling their services through a variety of channels. This will include contacting prospects & existing clients with unique product & service propositions via tele-marketing, emailing & messaging via Linkedin leads.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that the company websites meet their needs in terms of content & functionality & that social media channels are maintained to a high degree.

You will need to demonstrate your ability & experience in developing communication & marketing activities. You will have strong analytical skills & the ability to collate information to ensure the marketing strategy is productive. You will have excellent communication & copy writing skills along with strong IT skills, significant knowledge of social media & B2B marketing.

You'll be working with our Sage ACT CMS system to deliver first class customer results.

Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:

* Telephoning leads, prospects & existing clients with unique product & service propositions
* Emailing & Messaging via LinkedIn leads, prospects & existing clients
* Scheduling appointments for Business Directors to meet with prospective customers
* Being accountable for preparing work examples & providing key information ahead of meetings
* Establishing & maintaining a good rapport with all prospects & existing clients, maximising opportunities
* Recording data accurately & keeping up-to-date on the CRM system, in line with our GDPR Privacy Policy
* Confidently promoting the company brand & products to clients
* Ad-doc design of emails & newsletters
* Writing & uploading content to the company blog & social media channels
* Answering telephone promptly & efficiently as & when required.

Requirements of the Business Development Manager:

* Minimum of 2 years' experience within a similar role and ideally industry
* Be highly organised with excellent verbal, written communication & interpersonal skills
* Self-confidence plus the ability to influence & engage with colleagues
* SEO & social media savvy
* Willingness to learn new techniques & skills
* Be effective at exploring & pursuing opportunities over the phone
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook & Word
* Highly self-motivated & enthusiastic - have a persistent mind set, a mind set of "not giving up"
* Display a passion for the company & have a consistently positive attitude
* Be outgoing & friendly & exceptional at building rapport with a wide range of people
* Understand the power of questioning & listening
* Be able to process a wide range of information & communicate it clearly to the client
* Impeccable organisational & time-keeping skills
* Ability to work in a team or a self-motivated environment
* Photoshop & Illustrator skills an advantage
