There is currently an open vacancy for a Behaviour Support teaching assistant to join the Department at a large school in Rochdale. This job will involve working on a 1:1 basis as well as in groups with pupils who are close to being permanently excluded from permanent exclusion. This is a very rewarding role and would suit anybody who has experience working in a similar role, either in a secondary school or helping young people with behaviour or SEMH issues.

“Our support team is expanding for September 2018, and due to this we wish to appoint a Behaviour Mentor to join our team in the new academic year. The successful Behaviour Mentor will work with identified pupils across Key Stage Three and GCSE groups, monitoring behaviour and implementing strategies to improve behaviour across the cohort with the support of the SENCO and Inclusion Manager” – Head Teacher.

* Weekly pay of up to �300, dependent on experience.
