Teaching Personnel are currently supporting Teaching Assistants and aspiring teachers to gain invaluable experience within the Rochdale LEA on a regular, flexible basis with the opportunity for applicants to secure fixed positions working in secondary schools.

Highlights;

Full time and part time Teaching Assistant opportunities available, immediate & September starts

Teaching Personnel are supporting and working in partnership with a number of secondary schools across Rochdale, with a range of requirement for Teaching Assistants including daily cover, fixed term absence and flexible support to facilitate learning. Due to the range of schools Teaching Personnel are supporting, there is an unprecedented number of opportunities for you to gain paid work as a teaching assistant.

Role and Responsibilities;

Supporting students in class, under the direction of teaching staff

Working with pupils independently outside of the classroom, in small groups and on a 1:1 basis

Recording and reporting behaviour and implementing classroom behaviour policies to identified students

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
