Teaching Assistant - Key Stage 1 - Year 2

TP are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our collaborative and growing academy team in September as a Teaching Assistant.

This is an exciting position, which could offer excellent career progression and development. Ideally the person they are looking for will have the minimum of a Level 3 equivalent qualification, be passionate about education and have a flair for working with young people. The position would also suit a university graduate interested in gaining initial classroom experience as a Teaching Assistant, or those looking to start a career path in Teaching.

Working as part of an experienced, collaborative and talented team, your role will be to provide support to the class teacher, teaching small groups of pupils, 1:1 support work both inside and outside the classroom, delivering intervention programmes and helping to prepare and organise teaching and learning resources.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
